On 15th May 2019 marked an inaugural event between Kulim Technology Park Corporation and Universiti Sains Malaysia on the Endowment Program. The purpose of this collaboration is for USM to conduct research for improvisation or solving issues within Kulim Hi-Tech Park
The signing ceremony for the endowment was chaired by GCEO KTPC Sdn. Bhd, Tn. Hj. Mohd Sahil Zabidi.
The ceremony was also attended by USM Vice Chancellor, YBhg. Professor Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail, USM Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research and Innovation, Professor . Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, a few Directors of USM, Deputy Deans of Schools, USM Officers, KTPC management and officers respectively.
