Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry, YB. Dr. Ong Kian Ming  was on official working visit to Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, on April 18th, 2019.

Tuan Haji Mohd Sahil Zabidi, Kulim Technology Park Corporation Sdn. Bhd Group Chief Executive Officer and also some officers from representing different sectors in Kedah State Government were also present to welcome the YB Deputy Minister.

YB Sr Tan Kok Yew, the Kedah State Executive Council Member, Chairman of the Industrial and Investment, was also in attendance to officiate an investment seminar for Semi Small and Medium Industry (SMI) at Kulim Golf and Country Resort earlier. More than 100 companies also took part in this event.

All delegations were then taken to First Solar (M) Sdn Bhd for another briefing and factory-tour session.

The last on the agenda was a visit to both MIMOS and SIRIM after the closing ceremony of the investment seminar by YB Deputy Minister over at Kulim Golf & Country Resort.
